1. General Scope & Definitions

These Terms of Service (“Agreement”) govern the access, query execution, cadastral asset registration, survey plan OCR conversion, and API consumption provided by Dende Cadastre Technologies (“Dende”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

By accessing the Dende Platform, invoking the Dende Core REST API, or submitting land survey geometry to the registry, you (“User”, “Licensee”, or “Registered Organization”) agree to be bound by all terms, policies, and operational rules detailed herein.

2. Cadastral Data & License Terms

Sovereign cadastral coordinates, state zoning boundaries, and gazetted road rights-of-way ingested into the Dende platform are derived from official public registers and partner submissions.

  • Public spatial records are accessible for title due diligence, boundary verification, and non-infringing cadastral exploration.
  • Users may not reverse-engineer, mass-scrape without an authorized API key, or resell raw cadastral geometries in violation of sovereign data sovereignty laws.
  • Proprietary algorithmic metrics (including the Dende Overlap Index and Geodetic Closure Score) remain the intellectual property of Dende.

3. Surveyor Accreditations & Liability

Surveyors submitting boundary coordinates, beacon pillars, or survey plans represent and warrant that they possess active accreditation from the relevant statutory council (e.g. SURCON) and that submitted beacon coordinates accurately reflect ground reality.

False, fraudulent, or willfully overlapping boundary submissions will result in immediate suspension of accreditation seals, referral to statutory disciplinary tribunals, and potential civil liability.

4. Spatial Overlap & Dispute Engine

The Dende Spatial Compute Engine evaluates boundary intersections against known land parcels, public rights-of-way, and active claims.

Cadastral Advisory Notice While Dende provides deterministic spatial computation, algorithmic overlap alerts serve as an evidentiary due diligence tool and do not supersede final statutory judgments issued by sovereign courts of competent jurisdiction.

5. API Usage, Tariffs & Orders

Commercial API consumers must maintain an active wallet balance or pay per-transaction fees in accordance with the official Dende Tariff Schedule. All tariff purchases, search certificates, and deed extraction orders are non-refundable once computational execution has completed.

6. Disclaimers & Warranties

The Dende platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Dende disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express, statutory, or implied, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a specific transaction.

7. Governing Law & Arbitration

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and applicable international trade treaties. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be resolved via binding commercial arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration Rules of the Lagos Court of Arbitration (LCA).
